CLIMA 2025 aims to bring professionals and researchers together to address and seek solutions to the pressing questions faced by our society and industry. Our focus lies on the application of the latest scientific and applied technological advancements, grouped into the following main topics:
New HVAC components and systems
HVAC impact on comfort and health of occupants and operators
Environmental impact of the new technologies, economic and social consequences
Breakthrough design approaches for minimization of HVAC carbon footprint

Abstract submissions
Abstract submissions, with a maximum of 250 words, are welcomed. Authors can choose to present their papers as oral presentations or posters. If indifferent, the option “Oral or Poster” can be selected during the abstract submission.
While there is no limit to the number of authors per submission, only one presenting author is allowed. A biography (maximum 250 words) is required for each presenting author, and authors are requested to identify student submissions.
Authors are requested to inform if they or their co-authors are willing to act as Reviewers. Please obtain the permission from your co-authors before suggesting them as Reviewers.

Submission Guidelines:
All submissions must be made through our portal. Abstracts sent via email, fax, or any other means will not be accepted. Submissions after the specified deadline will not be possible.
The information submitted for presentation at the congress must be original, unpublished and not being considered for publication or presentation elsewhere.
Registration and
Presentation Requirements
Authors will be notified as to whether or not their papers are accepted for presentation at the congress.
Improvements in the paper content or layout can be requested, if necessary.
At least one of the authors for each paper must be registered by April 30th , 2025.
One registered author (not “Student”) cannot support more than two multi-authored papers for presentation.
One registered author as “Student” cannot support more than one paper for presentation.
Poster Section
A number of works will be selected to be presented in poster format. The posters will be displayed for all days of the Congress in a prominent area of the venue, ensuring high visibility.
First and foremost, we would like to underline that in CLIMA 2025, poster presentations are works of equal scientific merit with the ones that will be presented orally. They are entitled to be submitted for publication in both the open access proceedings of the Congress, as well as the scientific journals which will include extended version of selected papers presented at the Congress, following always a peer review process.
Dedicated sessions for poster tours will be included in the Congress agenda.
The presenting authors are requested to personally bring their posters to the Congress rather than mailing them ahead. The required dimensions are 80 cm (width) by 140-180 cm (height).
Congress "Virtual Bag"
Link to the Congress “Virtual bag” containing the submitted manuscripts of the papers presented will be distributed to the registered participants.
The Congress “Virtual bag” will include papers accepted for presentation, provided that at least one author has pre-registered by the deadline.
Peer Review & Publication
All the submitted manuscripts will undergo blinded peer review. The presented papers that will be considered suitable for presentation after the peer review will be published for free in the book series “Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering” published by Springer Nature Switzerland AG and indexed in Scopus, Ei Compendex, SCImago, among others.

Basing on the reviewers’ scores, the Program Scientific Committee will select a limited number of best papers and invite the Authors to submit an expanded version of the paper to Special Issues of well renowned international scientific journals. To read more refer to the Publication page.
Language
The official language of the Congress is English. All papers and presentations must be in English.
Presentation Modes
The designated types of presentation during CLIMA 2025 of the accepted contribution are ORAL or POSTER.
You can submit your work to a specific type or let the Scientific Committee decide which type is best applicable to your work.
If you attend the Congress online, you can only choose oral presentation.
